Memorial Coliseum

Kerra Jones

Memorial Coliseum is home to a number of athletics here at the University of Kentucky. Kentucky has had the honor of hosting some of the finest competitions in our nation. Memorial Coliseum has been the venue for the first round of the Lady Wildcats basketball NCAA tournament, NCAA final four tournament for volleyball, as well as the SEC Gymnastics Championship.
Now, if you are ever interested in watching our lady wildcats at work. Memorial Coliseum is the place to be. Memorial Coliseum is still the home to the women's basketball team, gymnastics team and the volleyball team.
Even though this may seem like a busy place to be, this is not all that Memorial Coliseum has to offer. The arena is used for several things outside of athletics such as the December Graduation or even a little convention each semester for each student to network while eating some of the finest food. The lottery is also another attraction here a Memorial Hall. Here students are able to draw for seats to watch the Wildcats work. Last but not least we can not forget that they are the host for the Divine-9 greek step show.

  1. Kerra,
I'm not sure which source your summarizing and then talking about your questions on. Make sure you are limiting each post to one source and making it clear which one you're talking about.

  2. I understand all of the athletic events that go on here and this is a really good post because I'am doing Rupp. How is the time managed with all the events here? Also is the fan attendance consistent with the events that go on here? Particularly talking about women's basketball.
