“Oneness287” is a clothing boutique that has been around for 6 years now. This appears to be the hidden reason behind most of the students’ fashion here at the university of Kentucky. Before “Oneness” started targeting clothing, it was based mostly on shoes hints the previous name of the store ‘Footwork’. Once they moved closer to the campus, the changed the name and the style of the store. Things on the inside and out changes, the color, size and products were completely different from the old store that was located at 287 S. Limestone here in Lexington Ky. The official location for “Oneness” is now 431 Jersey Street. Now the “Oneness” has found a place that they can call home, they have featured a large amount of clothing and a wall strictly for sneakers. At this boutique, over 20 different streetwear brands are sold along with the brand “Oneness” itself.
I feel that
with the information that was provided in the article helped me gather a better
understanding of “Oneness” background information. Throughout my research
process, I have wanted to grasp a better understanding of the history of the
story. Like was it necessary for the boutique to continue to change the name
and the look of the area? Was this a method used to attract more customers or
are they financial reasons behind why the boutique faced these obstacles.
